I’m really excited to post about my new green shorts (under $13) from H&M! Right when I entered the store, there they were! I immediately knew I wanted the dark green pair. They come in so many other great colors that I could have bought them all! I will probably get some more eventually but didn’t really have much time to try any more on that day. One thing I have learned over the years is that just because one pair in a certain size fits doesn’t mean you can judge the rest by that particular item. The fit is never the same!

I paired my shorts with this navy blue, sheer gauze Hollister top I purchased at TJ Maxx. Similar Here, Another Cool Option. Now, I want to draw attention to my favorite part of this outfit, the lovely horse scarf that I actually gifted to my mother for Christmas one year. Similar Here. More Options Here. I knew this would be the perfect gift for my mom since she grew up riding horses and still has a great appreciation of them to this day. She has been one of the biggest influences in my love for Native American/cowgirl fashion over the years.

I purchased these cute Carolina Bay fringe sandals from Roses Express about a month ago and love them! They are very comfortable and true to size. Similar here under $50. Wedge option under $30. Similar here under $25. One more under $18 Sorry, I just can’t help myself! And don’t forget if there is a Roses Express in your town you can check there too. I bought the braided leather belt several years ago from Victoria’s Secret and never get tired of wearing it! Similar option under $35. Another cool option under $13.

Then there is my favorite new necklace under $5 that I purchased from American Eagle a few weeks ago! I could not find this item on their website but you should check to see if they have one in a store near you. It also comes in a light gray color that I purchased as well. Cute Options Here. Really cool expensive option in white and turquoise. The Native American stamped copper cuff bracelet came from a really cool native shop in Gatlinburg, TN. Similar Here ($15). I purchased the arrowhead ring from a souvenir shop in Gatlinburg, TN as well. Similar option under ($20) with adjustable band. Cool gold option ($80). Colored options here ($60). Now, the arrowhead earrings, I do not know where these came from. But I do know that I will be more than happy to help you find some¬†under $12! ūüôā Cool gold option ($26). Super cool dangle arrow option (under$20). And last but not least my dainty little feather ring from Old Navy. They do not sell jewelry online so go check and see if they sell them at the nearest store. Or shop these options I have picked for you! Sterling silver option ($32). Sterling silver and brass option ($32).

Hope you see something you like! And please, don’t hesitate to tell me what you think. ūüôā Have a Great Day! ūüôā

Black & White Animal Print Dress

IMG_5343 IMG_5344 IMG_5346 IMG_5347 IMG_5349 IMG_5363

Don’t you just love it when you think you¬†made¬†a really good purchase then regret it?¬† Well, that’s what happened about a week after I bought this Black and White Animal Print Dress from Kmart!¬† The day I got it I also got another just like it but in a salmon color.¬† I fell in love with the salmon colored one and wore it to work a couple times last summer, but really regretted getting the leopard print one.¬† I usually like things with a design on them but rarely ever purchase them since solids don’t go out of style as quickly.

Now, almost a year later it is by far one of my favorite dresses!¬† Similar Options Here.¬† Another Kmart Option¬†under $20.¬† I wore it to work the other day and even got some compliments on it!!¬† ūüôā¬† The office that I work in is pretty casual so I dressed it down with the black and brown Liz Claiborne sandals that I purchased from JCPenney last summer.¬†¬†Similar Here.¬† But for the sake of¬†this blog post I paired it with my all time favorite Bruno Valenti heels that I have had for years.¬†¬†The dress came with a black and gold belt that I really like, but I¬†was going for something out of the¬†norm¬†so I¬†paired¬†it with brown instead.¬†¬†The brown belt is¬†one that came with another dress that¬†I purchased a while back and now I can’t even remember which one it goes with!¬† ūüôā¬† Similar Options Here.

I¬†didn’t want it to be boring so I added¬†some color¬†with my lipstick (cherry kiss) and jewelry.¬† I got the gold bracelet from Old Navy over the weekend.¬† Similar Here.¬† I really like it and have already worn it¬†like way too much!¬†¬†The¬†rings came from a really cool native store in Hendersonville, NC.¬† I¬†really wasn’t planning on spending much money on my trip to NC, but when I got in the store I just kept seeing things that I really needed.¬† Like the¬†sterling silver/turquoise rings. ¬†Similar¬†Options $50 and Under.¬†¬†¬†As I mentioned in¬†my previous post, I¬†accidentally threw my last one away!¬† ūüôĀ¬† Then there¬†are the earrings,¬†Similar Here,¬†which were given to me for my birthday one year.¬†¬†I also think these are really cool too.¬† I chose them because they had the beautiful turquoise color which complimented my lipstick (cherry kiss) color and the gold that matched my bracelet.¬† Similar Bracelet Here.

Last, I picked my Le Pliage  Longchamp bag since it is both black and brown with a hint of gold.  I have had this for a while as well, but not to worry you can still get one!  I purchased mine from Nordstrom.  They come in several different sizes and colors and can be used as a purse or as luggage.  So even though the prices are steep at least they do come in handy for more than one purpose.  So, what do you think?  What would you do different?

Blue & White Mosaic Print Top

IMG_5168 IMG_5167 IMG_5162 IMG_5152 IMG_5172

This is by far one of my favorite spring tops!  I have had it for over a year and just now started wearing it. It took me a while to find a pair of white pants to wear with it or I would have been wearing it before now. I love how bright it is and how it really did brighten my mood when I wore it. I like how it opens in the back and that the sleeves are wide at the bottom.

I¬†have gotten in a good habit of buying¬†camis from Forever21 since they have just about every color a girl could ask for and they are super cheap!!!¬†¬†I¬†purchased these white skinny pants from¬†Old Navy about two summers ago now.¬†¬†They have some now that are very similar and also come in many different colors and patterns.¬† I really like this black and white houndstooth pair.¬† They also come in some other great summer colors so don’t forget to check them out!

I decided to pair this with white pants since I was going to work but I would really like to pair it with my new skinny jeggings from American Eagle if I was going somewhere other than work, or with a pair of white shorts.

I got these oh so comfortable¬†Franco Sarto wedges from T.J. Maxx a few years back.¬† I like them because the¬†wedge¬†is only about 3 inches in height so they are really easy to walk in.¬† I also added a picture of my new fingernail polish.¬† I really like this¬†color because it is neutral and goes with almost anything I wear so I don’t have to change it as often.¬† It also has a hint of glitter to it which gives it that fun summer glow.¬† And last but not least I accessorized my outfit with my two favorite¬†faux gold rings and a pair of thick gold hoop earrings.

Unfortunately a few weeks after taking these pictures I¬†dropped the gold leaf ring in a public restroom and forgot to pick it up and wash it off…:(¬† Similar here.¬† But I personally think this one is even cooler and would go great with this outfit.¬† That is the second ring that I have left in a public restroom.¬† I threw my favorite sterling silver and turquoise ring (that I purchased when I lived in Colorado) away when¬†on a trip to Myrtle Beach, SC.¬† I didn’t realize it until¬†miles down the road.¬† Really hate loosing such a sentimental piece!
