Gatlinburg Trip 2017

I don’t think we could have stayed at a cooler hotel than The Historic Gatlinburg Inn.  I’ve been seeing it since I was a child and always thought it looked like so much fun!  What I love about it most is that it takes you back in time!

SKY LIFT above our Hotel 🙂 🙂 🙂

They had the prettiest flowers and we enjoyed rocking in the rocking chairs when we got tired of walking the streets!

   Outdoor fireplace!!!

The hotel is family owed and they could not have been more welcoming!  When we entered the breakfast room there was a cute little lady sitting all by herself and she looked up at us with a sweet smile and said, “We’re glad y’all are here!” I was confused at first but later my sister said she saw a picture of her in the hotel and she was one of the owners.

Burg Coffees-Smoothies (SO GOOD & CUTE!!!)

YUM, YUM, YUM…Pancake Pantry was so YUM and the building was even yummier!!! 🙂  Make sure you have CASH though!  I never carry cash and that’s all they take!  Luckily my cousin was with us so he was able to pay for ours.  They do however have a ATM inside!

Just talking on the Village Phone! 🙂

THE CREEKS—MY FAVORITE PART ABOUT THE SMOKIES!!!!!!!

Coolest little lunch spot!  White Chicken Chili was LISH!!! 🙂 We sat outside on the balcony but the inside is SUPER FUN!!!  I love, love, love all the ski/cabin decor!  Our waiter was pretty cute too and extra nice…lol!! 🙂

Smoky Mountain Brewery is one of my favorite places to eat when I’m in Gatlinburg!  We always get their beer cheese dip with hot pretzels.  Their pepperoni pizza is fine and goes real well with a Angry Orchard-Crisp Apple-Hard Cider!!  YUM O’ YUM, I wanna go back already!  I also really like the laid back, sports bar atmosphere!

Neat rope wall—HAD TO TAKE A PIC!!!

When I say shooting ZOMBIES was the funnest thing we did the entire time we were there —I mean it!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I’m not one to really get into all the games and attractions but I’m so glad we did this time because it really did make our trip a BLAST!!!

Cruzin’ in the hippie van…

The Mysterious Mansion was fun but I definitely wouldn’t go alone!  These places really creep me out but I never say no to them if everyone else wants to go and my cousin got a GROUPON for it so what can I say… 🙂

Cousin Al 🙂  He’s the best!!!

How precious are these poms???  They are 5 years old, a girl and a boy, and the one on the right only weighed 3.5 lbs.  I wanted them SO, SO BAD!!!  I think I’m gonna have to start me a Pom Farm one of the days!

I spilt tiger’s blood snow cone all over my shorts one day while we were walking around town!  It just so happened that I purchased this cute tye die dress from Walgreens about an hour before.  So I just threw it on over my shirt, tied a knot in the bottom to keep it up, and went about my day!

The dress was so comfortable I decided to wear it home!

Glitz & Glam on the sidewalk…just for me…right???

And last, I told y’all how much we enjoyed shooting ZOMBIES and here’s proof!  We wanted to do it one more time before we left so we went back for round 2!!  But this one wasn’t near as much fun as the ZOMBIE one so don’t waste your time, go to the 7D Dark Ride Adventure if you’re looking for a real good time!

I really hate I accidentally deleted some of my pictures from this trip!  There is so much to do in the Gatlinburg area that I didn’t even do it justice but I hope I’ve in some way inspired your next or maybe even first trip to Gatlinburg!  Please let me know if you have any questions —thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!! 🙂

Make Casual at Home Meals More Fun

I’ve been in a really good mood lately and can’t stand the thought of being inside on a beautiful day.  So when it’s time to eat the last place I want to be is at my kitchen table looking out my window at my parents house across the street…lol!  So I decided to come up with a few ways to ‘Make Casual at Home Meals More Fun’ and I wanted to share them with ya’ll!!

We were having nachos and lemonade for lunch so I decided to have a little fun with it!  I grabbed my blanket, put on a cute outfit, made my plate of nachos, stuck some cute umbrellas in my lemonade and headed outside! Then I realized I should probably get my sis to take a few pics just in case they turned out good enough for a blog post!! 🙂  They aren’t the best but Hey! they’ll do!!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

Make Casual at Home Meals More Fun:

  1.  Take it Outside if the weather permits.
  2.  Bring a Fun Blanket to sit on.
  3.  Put on a Cute Outfit that makes you feel good about yourself.
  4.  Have Fun with Your Food by making it look pretty.
  5.  Make Lemonade (or your beverage of choice), freeze it, and partially thaw it out before drinking!!!
  6. Put Umbrellas in your Drink like one you’d get at the beach.

Rodan and Fields Lash Boost Results

Before & After: Rodan and Fields Lash Boost Results (Eyelashes and Eyebrows)

Top Picture: Before

Middle Picture: After 4 weeks

Bottom Picture: After 8 Weeks

For some reason I just can’t get into putting on fake eyelashes and drawing on fake eyebrows!  Sure, all of these beauty experts make it look really pretty and easy but it just still seems like an awful lot of trouble to me! Plus the fact that I just don’t have time and am not willing to make time for something that isn’t really all that important.  Now don’t get me wrong I’ve always loved make up and I wear it almost every day of my life so more than anything I want it to be simple and quick.  Besides there’s just something about the fact that they are FAKE and NOT REALLY MINE that just doesn’t set well with me.

So that’s why I decided to give Rodan & Fields Enhancements Lash Boosting Serum a try!  One of the main reasons I wanted to go ahead and try it is because I suffer from Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis, which can cause loss of…wait for it…EYEBROW HAIR…!?!?  Ha, who would have guessed?  Plus the fact that I was a little bit (A LOT) addicted to tweezing them even when I knew I didn’t have any to tweeze!  My eyelashes on the other hand have always been long but over the years they have fallen out and I’ve had a really hard time growing them back out.

So now that I’ve tried it I’m here to tell you that it DOES WORK and I am SO HAPPY with my results!!!  It’s been years since I’ve had even close to a full set of eyebrows and I couldn’t be happier!  I can honestly say that the picture doesn’t even do them justice, they look much fuller in person!!  I also can’t believe how long my eyelashes are!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂  I am still using the product and still seeing results daily. I will continue to use it until I reach my desired outcome.

I have no negative side effects to report and the product is very easy to apply!  If you’ve been contemplating trying this product then I’d say give it a try!!!
